Rockland Ukulele Orchestra
Love You
Hey RUO! This song arrangement is a bit different than other songs that we've done, so here's a little crash course on some of the elements we'll be learning.
Happy Practicing!
- Autumn
First, decide which part below will work best for your skill level.
If you have never done picking before or you are brand new to the ukulele, the Bass Part might be the best option for you.
If you have done some picking and were able to do some the melodies we have learned in the past,
try out the Melody Part!
If you are familiar with picking or reading music and are looking for a bit more of a challenge (or if you have a low G string on your uke),
take a look at the Harmony Part.
*Note: each pdf has a version written in
music notation AND in tablature.
Use whichever is easier for you to read.
Second, let's review how to read tablature.
Each line on the tablature is one of the strings on the uke.
String 1 (A) is the top line.
String 2 (E) is the second line.
String 3 (C) is the third line.
String 4 (G) is the fourth line.

Each number on the tablature the fret you will use.
"0" is an open string (if 0 is on string 1, you would play that string without pressing down on any of the frets)
"1" - finger on the first fret.
"2" - finger on the second fret
"3" - finger on the third fret
And so on...
