The Rock ’n’ Rollers

An inspiring rock band of young adults guaranteed to bring joy to your audiences. They are available for performances at performing arts centers, schools, libraries, parks and recreation departments and private events.  Please contact them for a show at your venue or event!

The Rock ’n’ Rollers have been bringing joy to audiences for +7 years. Made up of 5 special young adults, they inspire, uplift and rock! The Rock ’n’ Rollers play a variety of rock songs from the early rock to contemporary songs. Instrumentation of the band includes electric guitar, bass, drums and ukulele. They have performed in performance arts centers, libraries, schools and camps and with Grammy award-winner Dan Zanes! The band rehearses and performs under the direction of Jeffrey Friedberg at Music For Life Creative Arts Therapy in Nyack, NY. Every time they take the stage, they demonstrate the power of music to transcend challenges and bring people of all skills, abilities and challenges together.

Jacob sing and plays guitar in the Rock ’n’ Rollers. He sings Three Birds, Country Roads, The Middle, With Or Without You among other songs. He also writes songs for the band and plays ukulele. Jacob loves to perform music for children at The New City Library. He also likes to listen to songs by Tom Chapin and  workout on the treadmill.

Chris plays the ukulele, guitar and sings. He sings Rocky Mountain High, Margaritaville, Splish Splash, Crocodile Rock, Ride and more! He’s an avid collector of VHS tapes and records. He’s a big fan of John Denver. He also like to make art in his free time.

Milo plays the bass guitar and sings. He sings Hound Dog and Let It Be. He loves classic and hard rock music. He also likes to writer songs and play the piano. In his free time he likes to play tennis with his family and workout.

Giovanna sings and plays the electric guitar. She loves to rock! She sings Living on A Prayer, Teacher’s Pet, Let’s Go, Just A Kid, Landslide and more! Giovanna likes to play many string instruments such as cello and upright bass during her free time. She also likes to do yoga and make art.

Anthony plays drums, tambourine and sings. He sings Do Way Diddy, Yellow Submarine and Wagon Wheel. Anthony is a big fan of The Beatles. During his free time he likes to watch old cartoons and to workout with his trainer.

Shane is a recent addition to the band.  He plays the keyboard and sings backup.  Shane enjoys all genres of music and is also a part of the Music for Life theater group.  Shane is an athlete, so when he is not doing something with one of his Music for Life groups, he is heavily involved with the Thunderbolts on the Move group.  He participates in bowling, track, basketball, kickball, and swimming.  He also loves doing all types of arts and crafts and is passionate about reading.
