INDIVIDUAL MUSIC LESSONS
Music Lessons Description: Students will learn how to play a variety of musical instruments using a personalized approach. They will learn basic music skills including rhythm, melody and harmony as well as music theory. The goal is for them to make playing music a meaningful part of their lives both individually and with others. Social music making opportunities will be explored when they are ready and interested.
FEES: $66/30 mins, $93.50/45 mins, $132/60 mins, 45 minute in-home music lessons: $132

MONDAY 5 - 8 yr old MUSIC MAKERS GROUP
Mondays 3:30pm (ongoing) July 1st - August 12th (7 weeks)
Learn to play music with others in this fun music class! Sing together, learn to play a variety of percussion instruments and engage in fun educational music games. Build skills that will help you join a band.

MUSICAL THEATER CLASSS
Mondays 4 - 5:15pm (July 1st - August 12th)
It's time for some Summer musical theater! Learn to sing, dance and act in a Broadway variety show. Participants will learn to sing solo and in a group. Participants will learn to engage in skits and talk loudly to an audience and add some fun movements!

TUESDAY YOUTH MUSIC MAKERS GROUP
Tuesdays 5 - 5:45pm July 2nd - August 13th (7 weeks)
Learn to play music and sing as a group! Focus will be on keeping a steady beat, learning simple rhythms and singing fun songs. Participants will play a variety of percussion instruments and learn to work together.

What’s more fun and educational than learning to play music in a band! Participants in this small group will learn to keep a beat with each other, start and stop together and jam out to songs the love!

They will increase their skills in using art materials and in understanding how color, shape and image express different ideas, thoughts and emotions. Projects will include 2 and 3 dimensional work.

Many challenges children face can be most effectively addressed through helping the parent(s). Work on a variety of issues from regulation, focus, behavior and anxiety/anger. Can be done virtually by video chat in evening or when your children are at school or in-person.
FEES: $132/60 mins - packages available for multiple sessions

Explore a variety of art mediums in these fun, creative and social classes. Learn how to paint, draw, make collage and work with clay. Participants will be encouraged to share their artwork with others and learn how to describe what they've made.

ROCK BAND
TEEN/YOUNG ADULT ROCK BAND CLASS July 5th - August 16th (7 weeks)
Fridays 4:30-5:30pm
Learn how to play in a rock band! This fun class will help you learn how to sing and play instruments with other people. Bring your voice, guitar, bass, keyboard or other instrument and let’s rock!

CHORUS

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm at The Rockland Conservatory of Music in Pearl River
Learn group singing skills in this fun social class. Please note this class is billed through the Rockland Conservatory of Music but run by Music For Life staff.
