Fun, social and challenging arts-based programming for children, teens and adults. ALL SKILLS, ABILITIES and CHALLENGES WELCOME. Through music, art, theater and movement, our students build valuable functional and arts skills and form meaningful relationships.

We serve people who are developing typically as well as those with developmental delays, developmental disabilities, autism, ADHD, social and emotional challenges,  TBI from illness or injury, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and those going through difficult life transitions and more.

Open to all in the community.

Individual Music Lessons

Learn to sing, play an instrument, write and record songs with a personalized approach

​

Music Lessons Description: Students will learn how to play a variety of musical instruments using a personalized approach. They will learn basic music skills including rhythm, melody and harmony as well as music theory. The goal is for them to make playing music a meaningful part of their lives both individually and with others. Social music making opportunities will be explored when they are ready and interested.

FEES: $60/30 mins, $85/45 mins, $120/60 mins      In-home music lessons: $110

Individual Art Lessons

Experience the joys of creating art while exploring a variety of art mediums with a personalized approach

Art Lessons Description: Students will explore a variety of mediums as they learn to express themselves through art. They will explore painting, drawing and collage. They will increase their skills in using art materials and in understanding how color, shape and image express different ideas, thoughts and emotions. Projects will include 2 and 3 dimensional work.

FEES: $60/30 mins, $85/45 mins, $120/60 mins

9:15 - 10:30am Monday Morning Dance Party Class: Start the week with some energizing dance moves! Learn different ways to move your body to the beat. Class will include line dancing, disco and pop dances. 

Goals: Motor skills, exercise, rhythm and cooperation

10:45 - 12noon T-Shirt Design Class: It’s time to get your fashion on! Learn the basics of designing your own t-shirt. 3 T-shirts will need to be provided by each family for final printing. Shirts: white t shirts are best.

Goals: Design skills, self expression and drawing skills

12:45 - 2pm Cartoon Video Class: Learn how to write and animate a cartoon! Class will include creating the characters and story and then creating the voices and making a video!

Summer Musical Theater Classes: It’s time for our summer musical theater variety show classes! Learn songs, dances and skits from a variety of musicals. This class is always a hit!

    3:45 - 5:00pm - Youth/Teen (8 - 18 yrs)

    5:15 - 6:30pm - Adult (19 and older)

9:15 - 10:30am Drum Circle Rhythm Class: Start the day with some drumming! Learn how to keep a beat and create interesting rhythms while playing with others.

Goals: Rhythm skills, confidence and cooperation

10:45 - 12noon Open Art Studio Class: Express yourself with a variety of art mediums in this ever popular class. Paint, draw, make collage and sculpture! Each class starts with a short art lesson.

Goals: Art skills, self expression & communication

12:45 - 2pm Comedy Class: Whether you’ve never told a joke or you’re a bona fide comedic clown, this class will help you improve your humor skills. You will learn to write jokes and deliver them with confidence. Build social and communication skills while making people laugh!

Goals: Joke telling, self expression and confidence

Learn how to play in a rock band! This fun class will help you learn how to sing and play instruments with other people. Bring your voice, guitar, bass, keyboard or other instrument and let’s rock!

9:15 - 10:30am Puppet Making Class: Make fun puppets out of a variety of materials. Participants will make animal and character puppets that they can use in the 12:45pm Puppet Show Class.

9:15 - 10:30am Ukulele Class: Ukulele is an incredibly versatile and accessible instrument. Learn how to play chords and accompany yourself singing and playing with others. Instruments can be provided for use during the summer if needed.

10:45 - 12noon Summer Chorus Class: Learn a variety of summer hit songs from 1950s - today. Nothing celebrates summer better than singing together!

12:45 - 2pm Puppet Show Class: Have a blast learning how to use puppets to tell stories and sing songs! Participants will work together in putting on a puppet show.

Participants will learn all about playing music with their friends in duos, trios and more. They will learn how to choose, learn and write songs. They will learn how to set up and use sound equipment and prepare for a performance/recording session. And above all, they will have fun playing music with each other!
